Danielle

Program Director
Picture
Danielle started dancing at 9 years old at the StarMaker School in Flemington, NJ. After her very first Pom routine to “Come on Ride the Train” in hot pink biker shorts, she was hooked! She joined the studios’ competitive team, the Entertainer’s Baton & Dance Company, when she was 10 & competed in Jazz, Lyrical, Pom, Hip Hop, Ballet, Tap and Baton Twirling. After securing multiple state and national titles, she set her sights on college dance. The only school Danielle wanted to go to was Towson University to be a part of the national champion Towson University Dance Team. Through four years of some of the most challenging dancing of her life, Danielle was honored to be a part of the team for 4 of their 18 national titles in Division 1 at NDA. After graduating in 2012 with a degree in social sciences, Danielle has been working in the Tech industry, became a certified Barre fitness instructor and has been dancing professionally with various shows and companies in the DMV area; most recently in a musical theater production for Sax Dinner Theater & Lounge in DC. In the few minutes she has free between work and dance, Danielle loves to go to the beach, garden, and hang out with her dog, Albie! Join us in welcoming Coach Danielle to the NLS family! Fun fact: She’s Ms. Christina’s big sister!

Upon graduation in 2010, Christina moved to Greenville, NC and became a member of the East Carolina University Dance Team. While at ECU, Christina was a four year member of the team, captain, letter winner, and NDA Collegiate All-American. The ECU Dance Team competed at NDA College Nationals in Daytona Beach, FL where the team finished in the top 5 of Division IA Team Performance. In 2014, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Studies and earned her Masters Degree in Sports Management from Georgetown University in 2017. After spending some time working in sports for the NFL, Minor League Baseball, and college athletics, Christina accepted the position of Head Coach of the Loyola University Maryland Dance Team in 2015. Since she took over the program, Christina has transformed the program, and established a profound campus & community presence in the Baltimore area. She is also a Primary Gold member of the National Dance Coaches Association and a certified judge for UDA and NDA! Christina currently resides in Hanover, MD and spends her days as an Apparel Rep for Varsity Spirit Fashion for Montgomery, Baltimore, and Howard Counties!

Brittney Sandler

Dance Instructor
Picture
Brittney fell in love with both dance and cheerleading at a very young age. Her early years were dedicated to competitive all star cheerleading where her first coach happened to be Coach Dayna! Her passion for dance blossomed as she trained in a Montgomery County studio. Her high school and college experiences revolved around Wootton poms and Penn States first all girl hip hop team. After graduating, she had the privilege of being a member of the Washington Wizards hype crew where she was 1 out of 3 dancers on the team. At Next Level she has worn the hat of class teacher, head hip hop coach, and soloist choreographer. Brittney has loved her many years at Next Level and could not be more proud of her students and their growth. Brittney cannot wait for the future of Next Level and is looking forward to an incredible year!
